About Winterkewl Games
It all began in 1985 when I found a battered and used Commodore Vic20 at my local second hand store. Within a month, I was copying code from byte magazine into the typewriter like keyboard as fast as I could. By that Christmas I was creating my own games, mostly featuring penguins, sliding, and classic chip tune like soundtracks. I was 11 that year, and already I knew what I wanted to do with the entire rest of my life, I wanted to make video games!
Over the last 30 years I’ve had the honor and the privilege to work on a number of feature animation films. I’ve also had the extremely humbling experience of failing to complete a Kickstarter project I attempted to build. But my spirit and desire to create beautiful and fun worlds and stories through video games will never die.
The next chapter starts here, one step at a time! Watch this space for updates all along the way. It’s good to be here, and I’m glad you’re here to.
